West Shore Chamber of Commerce hosted a debate on the issue of “The Employee Free Choice Act.” The panel included Susan Staub, President of PA Right to Work, Bill George President of PA AFL/CIO, Gene Barr, VP PA Chamber of Commerce and Wendell Young IV, President of UFCW local 1776. The responses posted are answers to a stated question or the reponse of another panel member. Issues were EFCA, binding arbitration, secret ballot, union intimidation, unions organizing small businesses, keeping jobs, economic impact and Senator Specter’s vote on card check.
